How does billing work at Honest?

Information about how you'll be billed by us

How we send bills depends on whether you have a Smart SIM, Classic SIM (or both).

Smart SIM

You will be billed on the anniversary of you joining. For example, if you joined on the 13th March and pay monthly, you will be charged on the 13th April, 13th May etc. If you pay annually, you'll be charged on the 13th March each year.

Classic SIM

We issue bills in calendar months. When you join Honest, you'll pay for your first month up front. We then issue bills for each calendar month in advance and we'll send you your bill early in the month each month (around the 4th working day of the month).

What if I change plan?

If you change plan you'll receive a pro-rata charge for the month. If you started on the Unlimited plan for £25 and switched in the middle of the month to the 10GB plan for £17.50 you'd receive a bill for £21.25 at the end of the month, and then your following bill would be for £17.50.

Additionally, you may notice separate billing entries for plans if a change occurs mid-month, reflecting both the original and the updated plan charges.

Where can I find my bills?

You can find your bills in the Honest Mobile app by going to My Account > My Bills and Usage. We'll also send all your bills to your account email address.
