🚨 As of November 2024, updating the IMSI on your Smart SIM is no longer required. ​

Only change your IMSI settings if specifically instructed by the Support Team.

Got yourself a Smart SIM? Here’s how to update its IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) settings and make sure everything on your phone is set up correctly.

Look for an app called SIM Toolkit or Telnyx and tap on this

Click on the Telnyx option on the new page

*Tap on the option 22201 - Sparkle

You can confirm this has updated by seeing the asterisk (*) alongside it.

Please check if Data Roaming is enabled on your device

You should now be able to connect to the other networks 🎉 ​ *If you are in, or travelling to Italy, please select BICS

1. Look for an app called SIM Toolkit or Telnyx and tap on this
2. Click on the Telnyx option on the new page
3. Tap on IMSI Selection Menu
4. *Tap on the option 22201 - Sparkle
5. You can confirm this has updated by seeing the asterisk (*) alongside it.
6. Please check if Data Roaming is enabled on your device
7. You should now be able to connect to the other networks 🎉 ​ *If you are in, or travelling to Italy, please select BICS

The Telnyx app/SIM toolkit will be automatically installed as an app, so please check in your app drawer or search for this
