Which apps work with the Smart SIM?
Smart SIM is designed to work with a specific set of apps, mostly the ones you’d use for travel, navigation, work, or staying in touch.
Why only certain apps?
The Smart SIM supports essential, lower-data-usage apps by design. Being able to pay for parking or book an Uber when you're stranded matters a lot more than scrolling TikTok.
Keeping data usage focused is also what makes Smart SIM affordable worldwide; high-data apps drive up costs that would eventually be passed on to everyone.
Right now, the 500+ supported apps include:
Navigation — Google Maps and similar
Messaging — WhatsApp and similar
Travel and work tools
Apps that aren't supported include video and music streaming (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music), social media (TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook), and gaming. If you try to use an unsupported app, it simply won't load or connect.
