ℹ️ What happens when you experience poor signal?

If your phone has trouble connecting or the signal feels weak, it could be due to your location, network issues, or phone settings. This guide will help you check your coverage, spot outages, switch network modes, and try simple fixes to get your signal back.

📲 Step by step: How to improve your signal

1. Check your coverage area

  • Make sure you’re in a good coverage area

  • Use Three’s coverage map to check signal strength near you

3. Switch your network mode

If 5G isn’t working well (or is not supported locally), try switching to 4G or 3G.

iOS:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile Data or Cellular

  • Tap Mobile Data Options

  • Tap Voice & Data

  • Select 4G or LTE instead of 5G

Android:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile Network or Connections

  • Tap Mobile Data or Network Mode

  • Choose 4G or LTE instead of 5G

4. Restart your phone

  • A quick restart can fix many signal issues

  • Turn your phone off and on again, then check your signal

❓What happens next?

After following these steps, your phone should connect better and your signal should improve. If problems continue, it could be a local network issue or a device problem.
