How to transfer your number to Honest

To transfer your phone number to Honest Mobile, you will need a PAC code from your current provider. The PAC code allows us to move your existing number to your new Honest Mobile SIM.

You can obtain a PAC code by texting the word 'PAC' to 6575 from your current phone. You should receive an SMS with your PAC code immediately.

Important:

  • Your PAC code is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.

  • You must provide your PAC code and select a transfer date during the Honest Mobile activation process.

  • Ensure there are no outstanding balances with your current provider, as these can prevent successful transfers.s.

Types of SIMs and number transfers

Honest Mobile offers two types of SIMs:

  • Classic SIMs:
    Support voice calls, SMS, and data. You can transfer your existing number to a Classic SIM.

  • Smart SIMs:
    Data-only SIMs that do not support number transfers or voice/SMS services.


How to transfer your number when activating your SIM

If you are activating your Honest Mobile SIM for the first time and want to transfer your number, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Honest Mobile app using the same email you used to order your SIM.

  2. Enter the last 4 digits of the phone number printed on the back of your SIM card.

  3. Tap Next.

  4. Select the option to Transfer your number.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your PAC code and choose your preferred transfer date.

How to transfer your number if your SIM is already active

If you have already activated your SIM and want to transfer your number later, please contact our support team for assistance.


When can you transfer your number?

  • Number transfers can only be processed on working days (Monday to Friday).

  • Transfers will not take place on Bank Holidays.

  • If you submit your PAC code and transfer request by 5 PM on a working day, your number can be transferred the next working day.

  • Alternatively, you can select any transfer date before your PAC code expires.

  • Transfers typically occur within the time window of 8 AM to 8 PM on the chosen day.


How long does the number transfer take?

  • Transfers are usually instantaneous on your chosen transfer day.

  • In rare cases (less than 1%), there may be a short period (a few hours) without phone service during the transfer.

  • We monitor the transfer closely and will notify you as soon as the process is complete.
