To transfer your phone number to Honest Mobile with a Classic SIM, you need a PAC code from your current provider.

How to get your PAC code ☎️

  • Text 'PAC' to 65075 from your current phone

  • You should receive an SMS with your PAC code immediately

  • Your PAC code is valid for 30 days from the date it's issued

πŸ”” Ensure there are no outstanding balances with your current provider, as these can prevent successful transfers.

Classic SIMs

  • Support voice calls, SMS, and data

  • Can transfer your existing number

Smart SIMs

  • Data-only SIMs

  • Do not support number transfers, voice calls, or SMS


How to Transfer Your Number πŸ”’

During SIM Activation

  1. Log into the Honest Mobile app using the same email you used to order your SIM

  2. For physical SIMs: Enter the last 4 digits of the phone number printed on the back of your SIM card

  3. For eSIMs: Follow the installation instructions sent via email first

  4. Tap Next

  5. Select the option to Transfer your number

  6. Enter your PAC code and choose your preferred transfer date

After SIM is Already Activated

  • Chat in the Honest Mobile app

  • Email us directly

Transfer Timing πŸ•—

When transfers happen

  • Working days only (Monday to Friday)

  • Not on Bank Holidays

  • Between 8 AM and 8 PM on your chosen day

Processing time

  • Submit by 5 PM on a working day = transfer next working day

  • Or select any date before your PAC code expires

  • Transfers are usually instantaneous on your selected porting day

  • Rarely (less than 1%), there may be a few hours without service


PAC vs STAC Codes πŸ“΅

PAC (Porting Authorisation Code)

  • Format: Three letters + six numbers (ABC123456)

  • Transfers your number to Honest Mobile

  • Keeps your existing phone number

STAC (Single Transfer Access Code)

  • Cancels your contract with current network

  • Does NOT transfer your number - you lose it

  • Useful if you don't want to keep your number and want us to handle closing your old account

If you don't receive your PAC code

  • Check your account is in good standing

  • Ensure your mobile service is active

  • Contact your current provider's customer support if there's any issues.

Before transferring

  • Double-check the number during the request

  • Confirm your transfer date is within the PAC code's validity period

  • Ensure no outstanding balances on your current account
