All you need to know about our EU roaming policy, effective from 1st June 2024

Will every trip I take to the EU include five days of free EU roaming?

Yes. Your first 5 days will be on us, then you’ll pay £2/day for the rest of your trip. We’ll reset your allowance when you get back to the UK, ready for your next adventure.

How much data can I use in the EU?

If you’re on a 4GB or 10GB plan, you can use all your data abroad. If you’re on our Unlimited plan, you can use up to 20GB per calendar month (as outlined in our fair usage policy).

How do I know I won’t be caught out by surprise charges?

Because you’re with Honest – we keep things straightforward here. EU roaming for the first 5 days of your trip are free, then it’s just £2/day. It really is that simple.

You can manage roaming in the app, so there’s no need to worry about unexpected costs.

What if I’m in a 12-month contract?

Unlike the big networks, we’ll never change the terms of a contract you can’t escape. If you decide to leave us, just give us 30 days’ notice and we’ll override your contract terms so you can move networks. We hope you choose to stay, though.

What about a set day pass for EU roaming?

We’ve thought long and hard about how we can make our EU roaming as affordable as possible for you. Right now, five days free then £2/day works out cheaper than offering passes for a set number of days, so that’s what we’ve gone for.

Will this always be your EU roaming policy?

We’re constantly reviewing how we can keep improving, and EU roaming is no exception. If we decide to update our policy, you’ll be the first to know.
